What makes furniture from Clear Creek better than furniture from other stores?
The easy answer is quality and selection! Each dining piece is individually handcrafted just like all of the furniture that we offer. We've been in business since 1993 offering great quality.
What type of finish do you use?
All of our finishes for fine furniture is Catalyzed Varnish. This is an excerpt from the manufacturers literature!
“Catalyzed varnish is a special type of coating. It cures by the cross-linking (bonding the molecules together) of alkyd and amino resins with acid as a catalyst to initiate the reaction. The high amount of cross-linking between the molecules is what makes catalyzed varnish so durable. The blend of toughness (hardness and flexibility) and chemical resistance makes them ideal for kitchen and bath cabinets, office and institutional furniture, and other interior wood applications requiring durability.”
This type of finish is so durable that a wet glass of water will not leave a ring on the surface it sits on for up to 24 hours. It is also resistant to most household chemicals. We've been supplying furniture since 1993 with this finish and have had only great feedback!
What is your lead time?
We quote a conservative 12 weeks. We are usually early and in some cases, the items are either in stock or available in just a couple of weeks.
Do I have choices in fabrics and leathers? Can I bring my own fabric?
Absolutely!
What if I order something and I don't like it when it comes in?
Unless there is defect in workmanship, the piece is yours. There are some situations where we deviate from this policy.
Do you require a deposit when ordering?
Yes, we ask for a 25% deposit.
Do you ship?
Yes, we deliver in the Dayton, Cincinnati area. Outside of that area, we use Packship USA. You can contact us for a freight quote. Our experience in long distance shipping is excellent.
Are all of your items displayed in your store?
No, but that would be great! Our store is 7000 square feet and we show furniture groups for dining, office, entertainment centers, bedroom and much more. But, the quality you see here in our store is the quality you can expect in any ordered piece.
